Welcoming Samantha Applebaum, LSCSW, to Flourish Wellness Collective!
We’re so excited to announce a new addition to the Flourish Wellness Collective team — therapist Samantha (“Sam”) Applebaum, LSCSW!
Sam brings a deep passion for supporting women and families through every season of life. With training in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) through Postpartum Support International (PSI), her work centers on the motherhood journey — from pregnancy and postpartum to parenting, identity, and beyond.

In her practice, Sam provides a warm, judgment-free space where clients can explore challenges and rediscover their strength. She has experience supporting individuals navigating:
Depression and anxiety
Self-esteem and identity concerns
Birth trauma and pregnancy loss
Parenting transitions
Foster care and adoption journeys
Sam approaches each client with genuine compassion, positivity, and a deep respect for their unique story — creating a therapeutic space where healing and growth can take root.
A Foundation in Learning and Care
Sam earned her Bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston in South Carolina, and went on to complete a combined Master of Arts and Master of Social Work at the University of Denver. Her education and clinical experience reflect a commitment to holistic care — supporting both emotional well-being and practical life balance.
Therapy from the Comfort of Home
Sam offers teletherapy to clients located anywhere in Kansas through SimplePractice, a HIPAA-secure online platform. This allows clients to access high-quality, compassionate care from wherever they are — no commute required.
She is currently in-network with:
