• Specialized Modalities: EMDR-trained and highly proficient in somatic healing therapies, Internal Family Systems Therapy, and Attachment Theory.

• Clinical Focus: Expert care for a multitude of mental health diagnoses, including personality disorders, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and process addictions.

• Relationship Support: Guidance on resolving interpersonal relationship issues, addressing codependent patterns of behavior, grief and loss issues, and strengthening communication skills to enhance relationships and social bonds.

I earned my Master's Degree in Social Work from Wichita State University with a concentration in Addiction Studies. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Educational Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a concentration in Special Education and Neurodivergence.  

Hi, my name is Sara Hooks! I specialize in compassionate, trauma-informed clinical care for individuals and families navigating the complexities of maladaptive substance use, process addictions, and co-occurring mental health disorders. As a Master’s-level Licensed Social Worker and Addiction Counselor, my practice integrates evidence-based techniques with a deep understanding of the human experience to foster lasting healing.

Self-pay rates:

 Intake/Initial appointments: $200

60 minute sessions: $150

Couples sessions: $150

Clients are responsible for any charges not covered by insurance, including deductibles, co-insurance, and co-pays; payment is due at the time of service. HSA payments are accepted. Payments are processed through Simple Practice, a HIPAA-secure platform.
