If you’ve ever wondered, “Why does everything feel harder for me than it seems to for everyone else?” — you’re not alone.
ADHD and Autism are not deficits. They are neurotypes. They shape how you process information, experience the world, communicate, focus, and connect. Many adults spend years adapting, masking, overcompensating, or blaming themselves before realizing their brain may simply work differently.
An assessment isn’t about labeling what’s “wrong.” It’s about understanding what’s true.
For many adults, clarity brings relief. It brings language. It brings self-compassion.

What the Assessment Process Looks Like
Adult evaluations are conducted by licensed professionals with specialized training in neurodivergence. The process is thoughtful, collaborative, and centered on your lived experience.
It may include:
In-depth conversations about your history and current challenges
Standardized questionnaires
Exploration of strengths, sensory patterns, executive functioning, and relational experiences
Screening for co-occurring concerns such as anxiety, depression, or burnout
You are not reduced to a checklist.
Your story matters.

Why Assessment Can Be Life-Changing
Many adults were never evaluated in childhood — especially women, high-masking individuals, parents, and those who learned to “push through.”
An assessment can:
Offer validation for lifelong experiences
Help untangle shame from neurobiology
Clarify support needs
Guide next steps (therapy, coaching, medication, accommodations, lifestyle shifts)
Strengthen self-advocacy at work, school, and home
For some, a formal diagnosis is essential for documentation.
For others, the insight itself is transformative.
Either way, understanding your brain can change the way you relate to yourself.

Accessible & Flexible Options
Assessments are offered virtually and increase accessibility and reduce barriers. You can pursue clarity from the comfort of your own space, without travel or geographic limitations.
The process is structured and clinically sound — while also honoring your autonomy and pace.

Cost & Next Steps
Assessment and screening services are available for adults (18+) who believe they may be ADHD and/or Autistic.
Two pathways are offered, depending on the level of evaluation and documentation needed. Whether you are seeking formal diagnosis or personal clarity, there is an option designed to meet you where you are.
____________________________
Option 1: Adult ADHD & Autism Screening (“Neuro Screening”)
Cost: $450 (payment plans available)
Time: 90 minutes | Service: No diagnosis provided
The screening consists of questions regarding your traits, history, and challenges only in relation to ADHD and autism.
A quick review of your information is compared to DSM-5 diagnostic criteria.
There is typically no waiting time for the screening report.
Your provider will discuss their findings and advise whether continuing with the diagnostic assessment (Option 2) is warranted.
Screenings CANNOT be submitted for insurance reimbursement.
Option 2: Adult ADHD & Autism Diagnostic Assessment (“Cherry AADI”)
Cost: $1,150 (payment plans available)
Time: 180 minutes in interview + 30-minute follow-up session
Service: Formal diagnosis and recommendations provided
Tool: Cherry Adult ADHD-Autism Diagnostic Interview (Cherry AADI)
Developed by Lindley Cherry, LCMHC, QS, NCC, the Cherry Adult ADHD-Autism Diagnostic Interview is a clinical assessment method designed specifically for identifying ADHD, autism, and co-occurring presentations (AuDHD) in adults.
Key Features:
Adult-Centered Approach: Unlike tools designed for children and adapted for adults, the Cherry AADI was created specifically for adult presentations, accounting for developmental masking, compensatory strategies, and life experience factors.
Culturally Responsive: Incorporates systematic consideration of cultural, gender, and identity factors that influence neurodivergent presentation and recognition.
Strengths-Based: Emphasizes individual neurological profiles and environmental fit rather than deficit-focused assessment.
Comprehensive Scope: Addresses not only core diagnostic criteria but also masking behaviors, sensory processing differences, and pathological demand avoidance patterns.
Fee covers the time taken for assessment interview, all additional time spent completing documentation or related tasks, and follow-up session.
A thorough review of your information is cross-examined with common misdiagnoses then compared to DSM-5 diagnostic criteria.
A comprehensive diagnostic report based on the data acquired during the assessment process is completed and a copy provided to you.
The wait time for the diagnostic report ranges from only 2 – 4 weeks.
At the follow-up session, your provider will discuss their findings and provide a copy of the assessment for you to review and approve.
This assessment CAN be submitted for insurance reimbursement (superbill can be provided)
This 2-part system allows you to receive services at a speed that is comfortable for you. It also allows you to divide the cost over time. If your screening indicates that continuing with the diagnosis is not warranted, or the screening is sufficient to satisfy your needs, you do not have to spend any additional time or money completing the comprehensive assessment. -
